A master password is a single, highly secure credential used as a “master key” to lock, unlock, and manage a central repository of your digital credentials, such as a password manager or encrypted file vault. Instead of needing to remember dozens of different complex passwords for all your online accounts, you only need to memorize this one. How it Works The master password serves two primary functions:
Authentication: It verifies your identity and proves that you are authorized to access the system.
