ASCOOS Web Server—now widely known as Ascoos Web Extended Studio (AWES)—is a portable, free 64-bit local development environment for Windows. Developed by Christos Drogidis, it functions similarly to XAMPP or WampServer by packaging a complete web server stack into a single application to allow developers to build and test websites locally.
