In telecommunications and amateur (ham) radio, Net Control refers to the Net Control Station (NCS), which is the dedicated operator responsible for directing, organizing, and maintaining order during a radio net. A radio net is essentially an on-the-air conference call where three or more operators communicate on a shared frequency.
